ISLAMABAD: The government of Pakistan has officially designated all terrorist groups and organizations operating in Balochistan as “Fitna al Hindustan,” according to a notification issued by the Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control.
The directive, outlined in document No. 13/74/2025-NAP, states that this renaming reflects the involvement of these groups in terrorism at the behest of India (referred to as Hindustan in the notification). The Ministry cited their actions as detrimental to Pakistan’s sovereignty, Islamic values, and traditional norms.
India has intensified ‘terrorism campaign’ inside Pakistan through proxies, says PM Shehbaz
“The change aims to reflect the true nature and ideology of these terrorist groups and the nefarious designs of India (Hindustan) against the people of Pakistan,” the notification read. The directive instructs all government entities to adopt this terminology in official correspondence and documents immediately. The notification has been circulated to all ministries, divisions, and provincial chief secretaries, with a copy also sent to the Advisor to the Prime Minister.
